Host/Hostess

Hosts/Hostesses will be responsible for welcoming patrons, seating patrons at tables, and helping ensure quality of facilities and service by maintaining accurate member notes, preferences, and special occasions. Hosts will provide guests with menus, assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of seatings, answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries, receive and record patrons' dining reservations, speak with patrons to ensure satisfaction with food and service, inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup, inform patrons of establishment specialties and features, and maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and customers to ensure that dining details are handled properly and customers' concerns are addressed. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least six (6) months of customer service experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check and drug screening at employers expense.
