Housekeeper

Housekeepers will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all rooms, suites, villas, and indoor common areas at Gasparilla Inn & Clubs property, which includes vacuuming floors, rearranging furniture, dusting, replenishing linens and towels, disinfecting bathrooms, washing windows, making beds and washing and putting away dirty glasses, kitchen housewares to include silverware, dishes, pots, pans, etc in the Villas, Beach Cottages and Estate Homes. Transport dirty linens by golf cart to laundry department and process all soiled hotel bed linens, terry and food and beverage table linens by in accordance with hotel's standards. Clean, press and finish staff and guest garments, as well as designated guest room fabrics and articles using a handheld residential iron and ironing board. Perform Cyclical Carpet and upholstery cleaning and floor polishing with a Sandia Extraction Carpet Cleaner Machine, Puzzi Upholstery Cleaner Machine, Global Floor Buffer Machine. Assist with tile and grout cleaning by hand with brushes daily while cleaning the bathrooms in guest rooms, suites, and villas. Housekeepers may need to lift and carry up to 80 lbs.

The petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club. Individuals who did not work for the company within the last 90 days before their new start date must complete pre-employment background check and drug screening. Housekeepers must be able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Must have or be able to attain a driver license if driving golf carts. Must have or be able to get ServSafe Certification. Must complete Human Trafficking Training and Blood Borne Pathogens Training upon Hire. On-the-Job Training provided. Will Train. Days and Shifts: Following Shifts available 7 days a week including weekends and holidays. Work hours from: 7:00am-3:30pm / 8:00am-4:30pm /9:00am-6:00 pm/ 2:00pm-10:30pm/ 3:00pm-11:00pm, shift hours may vary based on the time of the season, daylight, and need. Hourly Wage: $16.54 to $26.00 per hour (based on merit and past experience with our company) Overtime Possible: Overtime may be available at $24.81 to $39.00 per hour. Employees may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of a discretionary season-end bonus, as well as servicecharges-take out.
