Agricultural Equipment Operator

Harvest Moon, Inc is a Kansas Certified seed business. We produce large amounts of wheat seed, treat it while keeping it all identity preserved. Employees will be given the responsibilities of maintenance of all equipment and operating large GPS driven tractors for field work. Employees need to be highly proficient in large GPS tractor, augers and bins maintenance. Employees need to have a keen sense of exceptional maintenance and cleanliness. The employer also provides a cell phone subsidy to assist employees with the cost of maintaining personal cell phone service while employed on the farm. The current subsidy is $35.00 per month. This subsidy is provided in addition to the employee’s required H-2A wages and will not be used to reduce the required wage rate. Employer may provide pay increase for performance and experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at the previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.

Must have a regular driver's license. Job requires extensive sitting and extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Employer require post-hire drug testing at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace. Failing drug test will result in termination. Require 3 months experience.
