Duties
***RFI response***
The plows referenced are Snowrators, which are compact, stand-on units equipped with a plow attachment. They are purpose-built for pedestrian surfaces such as sidewalks, walkways, and small parking lots, and are standard for winter grounds maintenance. A Snowrator is not a highway-rated item. It is not licensed or equipped for operation on public roadways, does not carry the size, speed, or safety features required for road use, and is never used to plow streets or highways. The workers who operate this equipment perform sidewalk and parking-lot snow clearing in winter with no highway or road maintenance responsibilities at any point.
